En Gata como cada año, llegan las fiestas patronales del pueblo. Este año se celebran desde el 26 de julio hasta el 6 de agosto, unos días en los que se llena de alegría con sus verbenas, conciertos, festividades, comidas…Acércate y vive la experiencia real de un pueblo en fiestas.

En Gata com cada any, arriben les festes patronals del poble. Aquest any se celebren des del 26 de juliol fins al 6 d’agost, uns dies en què s’omple d’alegria amb els seus revetlles, concerts, festivitats, menjars … Acosta’t i viu l’experiència real d’un poble en festes.
Este año las fiestas de Gata arrancan con la bajada del Santíssim Crist del Calvari y con la presentación de festeros y festeras mayores e infantiles, en la que habrá un espectáculo musical.
Si quieres disfrutar de unas autènticas fiestas de pueblo, ven a Gata! Es el momento en el que las calles del pueblo se llenan de gente, niños, mayores, ancianos, todos salen a vivir las fiestas.
Música, luces, risas, toros, bailes y por supuesto, gastronomía, barras en la calle y bares donde poder tomarse una cerveza o una copa de vino con las tapas típicas de Gata mientras disfrutas del espectáculo del momento y al mejor precio.
Una parte de la fiesta se concentra en la Plaza Nueva, donde todas las noches hay fiesta. Disfraces, cenas en la calle, conciertos, verbenas… una fiesta preparada para todos los públicos, para que tanto mayores como pequeños lo pasen genial.
Si has venido de vacaciones con la familia, el lunes 30 de julio, es el día del niño: parques acuáticos y tirolina durante la mañana y toros gigantes hinchables por la tarde, una novedad con la que los más pequeños se lo pasan en grande.
Si eres joven y has venido con los amigos, también hay un día para ti, el “dia del Rock”, en el que por la noche diferentes grupos de rock tocan en concierto para todos los amantes de este tipo de música.
Por las tardes, el punto de encuentro son los toros, presentes durante prácticamente todos los días. También puedes verlos a mediodía y de madrugada. Este es el momento ideal para acercarse a tomar una cerveza o refresco y unas tapas en el mismo recinto.
También habrá varios días en los que se repartirán “cocas” tradicionales y cerveza de manera gratuita en este recinto o en las plazas del pueblo, que se convierten en momentos perfectos para acercarse a probar una de las comidas más típicas y descubrir la gastronomía tradicional. Seguro que repetirás.
Los más mayores también tienen su día. Así que para ellos y para todos está el día de las tradiciones, un día lleno de actividades para que vengas a conocer cómo vivimos las fiestas que esperamos durante todo el año.
Además también tendremos el día de las paellas, donde se juntan todas las peñas de la localidad para cenar y divertirse bailando en una espectacular orquesta. Otras ocasiones fantásticas para venir a Gata son el desfile de carrozas, con su explosión de color y risas, y el correfoc, un espectáculo con fuegos artificiales que recorre las calles del pueblo.
Como podéis ver en Gata nos gusta mucho la fiesta, nos gusta disfrazarnos, nos gusta la música, nos gusta juntarnos a cenar en la calle, nos gusta pasarlo bien con nuestros amigos y amigas y en fiestas tenemos la excusa perfecta.

This year Gata Festivities begin with the descent of the Santíssim Crist del Calvari and the presentation of “quintos” (18 years old and 10 years old), in which there will be a musical show.
If you want to enjoy authentic village “fiestas”, come to Gata!! It is the moment in which the streets of the town are filled with people, children, elderly… everybody go out to live them.
Music, lights, laughter, bulls, dances and of course, gastronomy, bars in the street and bars where you can have a beer or a glass of wine with the typical tapas of Gata while you enjoy the show of the moment and at the best price.
A part of the party is concentrated in the Plaza Nueva, where every night there is a party. Costumes, dinners on the street, concerts, festivals … a party prepared for all audiences, so that both adults and children have a great time.
If you are on holiday with your family, on Monday, July 30, it is the child’s day: water parks and zip lines during the morning and inflatable giant bulls in the afternoon, a novelty with which the little ones have a funny time.
If you are young and you are spend some days with friends,there is also a day for you, the «day of Rock», in which there is a rock concert at night specially for lovers of this kind of music.
In the afternoon, the meeting point is the bulls, present almost every day. You can also see them at noon and early in the morning too. This is the perfect time to have a beer or a drink and some tapas in the same place.
There will also be several days in which traditional «cocas» and beer will be distributed free, which become perfect moment to come and try one of the most typical meals and discover traditional gastronomy. Surely you will repeat.
The elders also have their day. So for them and for all there is the day of the traditions, a day full of activities so that you come to know how we live the summer and we expect “fiestas” all year.
In addition we will also have the day of the paellas, where all the clubs from the town gather to have dinner and have fun dancing in a spectacular orchestra. Other fantastic occasions to come to Gata are the parade of floats, with its explosion of color and laughter, and the “correfoc”, a fireworks display through the streets of the town.
As you can see in Gata we really like the festivities, we like to dress up, we like music, we like to get together to have dinner in the street, we like to have fun with our friends and with festivities of the town we have the perfect excuse.

Aquest any les festes de Gata arrenquen amb la baixada del Santíssim Crist del Calvari i amb la presentació de festers i festeres majors i infantils, en la qual hi haurà un espectacle musical.
En els propers dies soparem i gaudirem de les orquestres en les típiques barraques de la Plaça Nova.
Un altre esdeveniment de les festes són els bous, que estaran presents durant pràcticament tots els dies al matí, a la vesprá i de vegades a la nit.
Són el moment ideal per apropar-se a prendre una cervesa o refresc i unes tapes al mateix recinte.
També hi haurà diversos dies en què es repartiran «coques» tradicionals i cervesa de manera gratuïta en aquest recinte o en les places del poble, que es converteixen en moments perfectes per apropar-se a provar un dels menjars més típics i descobrir la gastronomia tradicional. Segur que repetiràs.
A Gata també tenim un dia de festes dedicat als més joves on hi haurà activitats com un parc aquàtic o una tirolina perquè els nens puguin gaudir més que mai de l’ambient de festa del poble.
No ens podíem oblidar dels més grans així que per a ells i per a tots està el dia de les tradicions, un dia ple d’activitats perquè vingues a conèixer com vivim les festes que esperem durant tot l’any.
