Beer and tapas, it’s break time!
In Gata, this is an unavoidable appointment to which all the neighbours go every week. The preferred day for this is Friday, but a Wednesday or Thursday is also good to start the week.
Here we like to go out and have a few beers with our gang. Beer time always brings moments of joy, friends meet to tell each other how the week is going, to make plans or simply to get together after a day of work.
The typical thing is to meet at a bar in town and combine beer with tapas. You can try the traditional ones such as lean meat or blood with onion, or something more innovative with a touch of creativity such as coca pumpkin, pine nuts, cheese and sobrassada.
The beer hour goes from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., more or less, although there are people who extend it until 10:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. and ends up having dinner too! The most important thing here is to feel comfortable and in good company.
