Art al vent is back to Gata! The streets of the town are flooded again with this outdoor textile art show that fills the balconies of light and color. The exhibition, which is considered the most important of the state in textile art, can be visited from August 12 to September 4.

Art al Vent is currently the most important textile creation outdoor sample in Spain and the most international that is celebrated in the Valencian Community.
The roots of this exhibition come from the tradition of hanging mats on the balconies to the passage of a procession, deeply rooted in the Marina Alta and especially in Gata de Gorgos that still keeps it alive.


This year the exhibition, which can be visited from August 12 to September 4, presents its XIX edition in which a total of 56 works from 17 different countries participate. La Bassa street is where you can enjoy walking and contemplating this peculiar exhibition.

In addition, as every year, the exhibition is accompanied by an extensive complementary cultural programming where there will be music with performances such as the El Montgó Colla, dances with the La Llata ​​Dance Group and concerts such as the Gata Youth Band or the Orchestra of the Marina Alta OMA that will play at the close of the exhibition on September 5.


This great event causes many tourists and visitors to approach the town to enjoy, not only the sample, but rather of an entire town. Gata has a lot to offer.
