Once again, the patron saint festivities of our town, Gata de Gorgos, arrive.
This year they start on July 20 with the festival that will present the Quintà Infantil and Major of this 2024 and that will continue from July 27 full of events, music and lots of partying.
If you don’t want to miss out on what to do during these days, stay in the post and we’ll tell you about it!
SATURDAY, JULY 20
Next 20th of july and starting at 11 p.m., the festival will begin and the two Quintadas 2024 will be presented and they will go up to the School Group accompanied by the Unió Musical de Gata Band to celebrate it. At the end of the event, we will be able to dance non-stop thanks to the Límite Orchestra.
GATA FESTIVITIES 2024
Starting on July 27, the party begins! At 6 p.m. the famous parade that starts the festivities, enlivened by the Batukada and the Charangas, will begin from C/La Pau and will end in the circle, also marking the inauguration. After also inaugurating the Barracas and Casals at 10 p.m., we will be able to enjoy the Vertigo Revolution Orchestra in the School Group until the body can bear it.
The following days we can enjoy floats, bulls or paella’s night, always with lots of music and lots of fun.
CHILDREN’S DAY
The little ones also have a special day for them. On August 1st they will have a day full of fun adapted to them such as water parks, a theater performance or a Carretons release in the Corro.
SAINT CHRIST’S DAY
The festivities will end on August 6, the Day of the Patron of Gata and which we will accompany to the Ermita del Calvario in a solemn procession after the mass that will be held in the Church at 7:30 p.m.
